Just found out that Gift Horse Films' 'Gayby' that I graded has been excepted to the Palm Springs International Film Festival and ShortFest in July. Seriously top work and I'm very proud to have contributed to this great short, along with other colleagues from SAE Sydney.
Fantastic news for the Director Joey Chebatte to have his world premiere in an L.A festival. A great nod to his hard work and perseverance. thumbs up Joey!
July Premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival. More news to come. Bloody excited!!
Another great piece from Director Nick Waterman coming out very soon. This time from the great people at Virgin Airlines. Can't say too much but it will be as cute as a room full of puppies! More to come!

C300 was the format for Joey's new short film "Three Hearts". DaVinci easily handled some long takes that traveled from indoors to outdoors and back again. The keyframing of exposures was leveled out and the cool and warm feels for each room really accentuated the tense scenes that played out. Looking forward to seeing this production hit the festivals very soon. Cheers Joey!
Very excited to see this great 7 minute film by Anya Beyersdorf in the lineup for January. Well deserved and fingers crossed.
I'm super excited to hear that our Director- Joseph has sent off a screener to these 2 festivals. Focus is now is on making some minute tweaks and another feature is in the can.
Categorising the bleak and dull look for this material was the brief and communicating this through the R3Ds was our job. Nick Snelling the Head of Content for Hill & Knowlton was stoked with the finished product and his clients are loving it too.
Finalising some extraordinary looks for this baby. We're very happy with the results so far and getting closer to wrapping up for the first screener deadline.
Come along to catch the latest from DaVinci Resolve 11 in 2 classes this month at Digistor in Sydney. A fundamentals and advanced class. They are great days and full of the right info for new, aspiring colourists as well as the intermediate user.
Some Epic 5K, magnificently shot by Velinda Wardell ACS and Directed by Nicholas Waterman. It's a black and white beauty. Cant wait until I can write more about this!!
Latest class at Digistor was a great day with the new software V11. Covered all the goodies and some great workflow features. Looking forward to the Advanced Class next month.
Aaron brought me ABMO shot on Red for a grade this week. The family drama was shot a year ago and as always the Colourist is the end of the road for the production. I worked with Aaron's vision for the film and together punched out a look that did justice to the DP and all contributors. Cheers Aaron!
Anya Beyersdorf has knocked another film out of the park - full stop. Created the look, tweaked some graphics, re-lit where required and rendered that 'Gayby'.
Such an awesome experience where every one of the details has been checked off right through the production. Congrats Anya - a pleasure as always.
